The Elva Earrings are handmade using traditional techniques from sustainable timber, available in three tonal shades inspired by natural elements. The lightweight design is hand-carved with lines in switching directions for added interest. We recommend combining with other natural textures like soft linen to complete the look.

This jewellery piece was hand made by skilled artisans in the Philippines, using responsibly sourced timber. Each wooden bead is hand turned and custom dyed, followed with a natural wax polish for surface protection.
The timber was grown in the Philippines in sustainably managed plantations that we have visited to learn more about where our timber comes from.
This piece is handmade in Cebu, Philippines by a family-owned workshop called Earthworks who have collaborated with ELK since 2004. We have a wonderful relationship with the owner, Christine, who has become an (unofficial) part of our family. She runs an incredible business with a team made up mostly of women, with some great skills training and health program initiatives in place. With Christine’s assistance, we have mapped all materials, trims and third-party contributors, allowing us to trace our timber jewellery supply chain back to the farm.
Earthworks is a member of Sedex and undergoes regular SMETA social compliance audits.
